Meet the Doctor
Dr. BreAnn Moddes was born in Glendale, Arizona but grew up in the Madison, Wisconsin metro area. Her first experience with Chiropractic was as a small child. She had suffered from weekly migraine headaches for nearly five years that only her father’s Chiropractor was able to eliminate.
Dr. Moddes is a June 2003 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. While at Palmer, Dr. Moddes earned a place on the Dean’s list for her academic achievement. She also served as a teaching assistant in Academic Radiology and Neuromusculoskeletal Systems, and earned certificates of merit for that teaching service. In October of 2005, Dr. Moddes served as a member of a team of twelve on a Clinic Abroad trip to Haiti for two weeks where she helped bring chiropractic and primary healthcare to underserved populations nationwide.
A graduate of Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, Dr. Moddes has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Vocal Music and is a supporter of the humanities and arts. She was also an exchange student to the north of Spain in 1992, where she learned to speak Spanish Fluently, a skill that is utilized regularly in the office.
Dr. Moddes currently resides in the East Valley of the Phoenix, AZ metro area where she has a license in good standing in Arizona since January 2004 (previously she was licensed in Wisconsin). She currently serves as a District Delegate for the Arizona Association of Chiropractic, as well as serves as a member of the Public Policy committee for the Association. She was nominated and selected for additional leadership training from the Arizona Association of Chiropractic in the Arizona Leadership Institute, which she completed in June 2006.
In June 2006 Dr. Moddes completed her certification to perform Manipulation Under Anesthesia, a revolutionary and effective approach that makes changes to the spine and surrounding tissues to reduce pain with lasting results. She also has additional education in the applications of clinical nutrition and in pediatric adjusting.
